Common questions
Which render is best?
Silicone and through-coloured renders need little maintenance and resist dirt; sand and cement is cheaper but needs painting. We recommend a system after seeing your walls.
Can you render in winter?
Render needs dry weather above about 5°C, so we plan work around the forecast.
Do I need planning permission?
Usually not, unless you're in a conservation area or the building is listed. We'll tell you at the visit.
How much does rendering a house cost?
We can't give a fair price without seeing the job. Wall area, the condition of the old render, the render system and access or scaffolding all change the price. We visit for free, measure up and send an itemised quote, so you can see exactly where the money goes.
